至於國慶日至下周三的天氣，吳德榮表示，最新模式的模擬是比較分歧的，歐洲（ECMWF）模擬岀另一股熱帶擾動雲系通過菲律賓。美國（NCEP）模式則模擬出熱帶擾動發展成颱風，移速較慢，仍在菲律賓東方海面，故國慶日的天氣預報不確定性很高，需要再進一步觀察。
